• What is the difference between a C-fold and a Multifold (Z-fold) paper towel dispenser?

  The main difference lies in how the towels interact and the width of the bottom opening. C-fold paper towels are folded into a 'C' shape and sit stacked directly on top of each other. Pulling one out leaves the next sheet resting flat inside. Multifold (or Z-fold) towels are interlocked; pulling one down draws the next sheet down with it. Because C-fold towels are wider when folded, C-fold dispensers have a significantly wider bottom slot to accommodate them.
  
  

• Can I put Z-fold or multifold paper towels into a C-fold dispenser?

  While it is physically possible to stack them inside because the cabinet is wide enough, it is not recommended. Because multifold towels are designed for a narrow, restrictive slot, putting them into a wide-mouthed C-fold dispenser will usually cause them to drop down in large, wasteful clumps instead of single sheets when pulled.

  For standard public washrooms, installing the unit so the bottom dispensing slot sits roughly 1200mm to 1300mm above the finished floor level ensures maximum comfort for most adults. For accessible or DDA-compliant washrooms, mount the unit lower—ensuring the slot is between 900mm and 1000mm from the floor to make it accessible to wheelchair users.

  To keep fingerprint grease and water stains off your stainless steel cabinets, wash them down daily using a soft microfiber cloth with warm water and a mild detergent or specialized stainless steel cleaner.
