• What exactly is a multifold paper towel, and will it fit any dispenser?

  Multifold paper towels (frequently called Z-fold or M-fold) feature an interlocking design with multiple creases. When a user pulls one towel out, the interlocking fold automatically draws the next sheet down into position. These units are specifically shaped to hold these nested sheets. They are not designed for single-fold (C-fold) towels, which sit loosely on top of each other and require a wider exit aperture.

  Traditional C-fold towels often drop out of dispensers in thick clumps, meaning users grab far more than they actually need, causing overflowing bins and extra expense.   For standard public washrooms, installing the dispenser so the bottom opening sits roughly 1200mm to 1300mm above finished floor level is generally recommended.
